I'm looking for a good supplier for a clean up crew - Anybody able to assist in suggestions or able to supply.

True Mexican Turbo's - Top of my list.

Interesting web site: The Clean Up Crew - Stocking Methods and Levels for new Reef Aquariums.

With my recent introduction of the Jebao RW8's pair - Can anybody tell me what position and angles are best suited for such a tank!

I don't seem to be getting anywhere with regards to my "Sand" it's continuously piling or shifting around the tank due to any slight movement of the heads.

In preparation for Week 8 I'm hoping to have my Deltec fr509 and Eheim Compact 600 in place, however after no replies from numerous forums I've purchased two handfuls of Chaetomorpha marine algae from a well known supplier which I'm hoping to add to the sump on arrival - I really cant wait to see if this performs without any other assistance.

Confirmation today is that my Deltec FR 509 media reactor has arrived but unfortunately I'm presently at work till 10 tonight. Due to my impatience I've ordered some Cheato - hoping this arrives tomorrow considering it's 1st class. This brings me onto the subject of an earlier post regarding my Flexi-Clamp and LED bulb: 4.5Watt = Equiv 6500K

Taking into account this might not work I'm considering attaching my spare Aquaray 500HD unit and bracket - 12Watt 4 X 10,000K white LED's.

Have a look at utilising rods instead of on top of each other - to be truthful I just placed mine in to get the cycling started.

CEECH: To be truthful I'm surprised my partner has agreed, only today I've taken her to three shops - Beat's sitting at home I said.

oK - Today I've had a delivery of 2 small bags of Cheato, nothing like the image on EBay (I might complain to EBay later). As yet I haven't had time to really get a good look at it or even weigh it - but the lights are on. I'm doing a water change tomorrow with everybody out of the house so this will give me a good opportunity to document size and weight less water (obviously a few pictures for those interested) - I will endeavour to keep you informed on my progress.

Power head location and flow settings - Still not happy with this, too much flow moves a fair bit of sand from the front > Jebao RW8 either side of weir.
Anybody suggest angles or settings? I will try to find something on the Forum later.

Have you tried to face maybe one up towards the surface and the other to hit the side glass of the tank. I used to have this problem in a fresh water pirahna setup i had and it worked a treat

Will try this when I get back from visiting my brother in-law in Cornwall, we are staying in Looe. Anybody suggest a good aquarium place to visit or selling Chaeto.

Bit of advice to all readers - If you haven't already purchased an Auto-top up unit, go and get one. I wouldn’t be without my unit now that I’ve realised its potential. I looked at a few but always came back to “Reefloat” and “ATU-PRO2-50” > Yes it’s a 50 litre but ideal for those two week breaks (evaporation around 20 litres per week).
