Thought I would update the first page with a couple of full tank shots and try and keep them updated.

Well cabinet should be here in a couple of weeks, and 3-4 for the tank.

It will be, I'm now possibly looking at the New Jet 6000, or the Laguna 6000. The New Jet is only 70 watts, so I would like that, but they are about £140:eek: The only issue with the Laguna is they don't have any feet, so I would need to sit it on foam or something, but I can get one for about £70-80, so it might well be foam.

Well its been an expensive day. Just ordered a Laguna 6000 for my return pump, and a Bubble Magus NAC7 from Robin at Coventry.

Like a kid at Christmas now waiting for everything to arrive.

Cheers Ged, they look like a great piece of kit, looking forward to getting it. Just waiting for my stand to arrive then I can start sorting out the electric etc. The tank will still be another week or so.

All this build really needs is a Orphek light, but unfortunately funds will not stretch that far:rolleyes:

The X aquas have arrived, as has the new Laguna pump. What a beast that is Worship

I will get a picture up of the X aqua so you can see what they are like before they are fitted.

Well this is a picture of the X-Aqua, my tank will be running two of these:dance:

.....and this is the new pump to run them. Just cost me £80 delivered which I didn't think was bad. Only uses 80 watt as well.

If I find when I have set it up, it is too big I can always tap it off and run a reactor.

Yeah, each unit still needs two holes drilling in the back of the tank at about the water level.

Stand is from Steve at Burscough, and the tank is getting made by Jezz at poseidon's palace.
