ohh I'm unbanned aswell. it's a shame the forum was run the way it was for a short period of time and the mods/admins where basically ignored including myself. I may pop on from time to time but we will see as I'm also part of the other forum which is where I spend most of my time now...

haha there backed up with 2 years warranty so could have 4 years worth of pumps for your 2 lol. yeah they do both work very well and it will be down to personally preference of wires in the tank or not, not being able to change the flow direction on the mp, gyres being 'bulky', price and so on...

what salt is that on? personally I use tropic Marin pro reef as it matches natural sea water closest and has all major and minor trace elements. some of the pro salts have elevated levels which aim you down a certain road e.g. enhanced growth, enhanced colours e.t.c. not all salts are equal...

it looks like the tank is twisted or the glass hasn't been cut straight the other option is the stand wasn't completely level and the silicone hadn't been left to set fully and the silicone has twisted to match the level of the stand unlikely but it is possible. measure the glass top to bottom...
