Have you looked at real reef rock
It’s artificial so you wouldn’t get any die off that you might with like rock
could it be Lymphocystis ?
does it look at bit fluffy ?
wouldnt have thought that to be a problem
are you able to set it up with the tmc pump and try it ?
ive tried to find the pump curve for it but no success
i know wrasse can do this sort of thing
but not aware of what you have doing it
though damsels are fairly aggressive for their size

Not something I’ve ever done
But know shops that sell it
If it’s clear of places of pollution I would have thought it would be ok
I read of...
still looks quite healthy
has it fed recently ?
How about a wet and dry vacuum close by ?
Or have the carpet cut to the front of the tank
And stand the tank on marine plywood

a great challenge though i think stocking for £50 will be tough
coral prices are on the up
i ran it for a while when i set my tank up
but never really thought it added much
though the unit was probably undersized
if you do run it you...
The Fiji blue is still my favourite colour for making corals pop
I had them before my radions
The higher spec would be ok I think for a nem
