little help needed here, I had no luck finding shorter moonlight stips so I took the double led moolights out of my biggie to put in my salty edge.

Basically I would like better night lights in my big planted tank, led strips were ok but I think a quod set 24/24/24/24 would have been better (two front/two back) and I cant find anything like this on flea bay.

# Option 1 have a go at making my own [001.gif] I know I can get the basic sticky strip leds and the other bits n bob off ebay n all and all and I have lots of 12v adapter just sitting doing nothing so I am hoping someone can put together an eeeejit guide [confused1.gif] for me, or even offer to make them for me [yahoo.gif]

# Option 2 buy something other than led strips for night light effect, need a pointer on this one as I would prefer not to have spot lights in the tank.

Ideas, images, drawings, write ups easy for me to follow all welcome

Thanks for reading

I bought a 3 Led mini strip off eBay that directs left, right and centre. Same sort of thing boy racers have in their cars. Stuck it on the black light arm on the front. Works a treat, I will try and post a link but on holiday ATM so limited to the iPhone.
