Remove as much water as possible (dependant on what there is in there) and move across and add water back.
Try not to disturb the substrate when adding the water back

rock isnt a problem being out providing it doesnt dry so you have around an hour easy dependant on room temp I suppose

Remember, draining half still leaves 22.5l of water which is 22.5kgs.
I thought of doing the same with my old Orca, no change because they are just so difficult to carry safety with 10+ litres of water and rock etc.
Hope it all goes well.
James

I personally would get some news paper take the rock out and put on that, drain 90% of the water and move it then fill back up. You will be putting quite a strain on the tank moving half full IMO

its on the kitchen side right now i was going to drain half and then move onto a peice of wood sliding it and just carry the whole lump 2 of us and put straight on its new place its going to live and leave the wood under it cos that will be part of the unit anyway so the tank will still be on a hard surface while being moved

all it takes is for a rock to slip hit the tank ,tank gone i would empty and leave 2 inch max of water just to keep the sand covered :)
