Do you know your fish stocking levels?

    Are you overstocked?

If so, what is your reasoning?

On your ratios mate, I can fit about another 8 in.

Although I have all the fish I ever wanted now, so not going to happen. (bar the Copperband, but that is another story)

    Yours is 260ltr

    Mine is 350ltr exc sump

    I have 10 fish

    You have 16

You have an issue with Nitrates and Phosphates. I don't

However, as I thought, people do push the boundaries. I can also see who voted, and because of that, I would conclude, that boundaries can be pushed, and people still have great looking and healthy tanks.

I don't want to be ever known as the guy who puts 2 fingers up to the rules, but it is apparent to me after many recent discussions on various topics recently, research / boundaries / rules / do's and dont's are definitely outdated.

No one has ever (or I would hope they haven't) gone out to buy and then stress their livestock to the degree of death.

The ethics or rules of marine fishkeeping have changed, and some people need to accept that the hobby has moved on, and that modern reef keeping methods have definitely improved.

We could do with a "probably" option in the poll............I have an RSM 130D (probably 120 litres excluding LR).

    Stock:
    Yellow Tang
    Kole Tang
    Pair B/W clowns
    High Fin Goby

    Pistol Shrimp.

    Various clean-up crew.

I guess technically I'm overstocked, but have a hugely oversized skimmer (MCE600) and my Nitrates are currently a big fat ZERO so I'm not to worried.
    Cheers, Roger

They don't look like they are, Kole tang went in about 11 months ago, nearly died initially with some sort of skin infection (but I think it came with it from the LFS)

Yellow tang and Clowns have been in a year this April and the Goby went in Jan/Feb this year.

Not fighting, no apparent stress in fact no issues at all. In fairness I "may" have had a WS outbreak about 2 weeks ago as the Yellow showed spots for a day, but nothing before or since.
    Cheers, Roger
