What lighting do you use

interesting one for me.got mr durkins old vision 260 and need light unit soon so i can start setting up.but on a low budget £150. seen a 6 x 54w t5 unit on iquatics (not in stock at the mo) should be well enough? or could i go for something cheaper.sorry to jump in but can't decide on what to do.

We has two 34inch KR92's and not other lighting, we have good sps growth and clour under them and are really pleased with them. however they were not cheap, but i feel they are worth the money

Interesting results so far, I thought T5 would be up there, but I didn't think LED would be ahead of halide as it currently is!

I use a combination of LEDs and power compacts so ticked LED and other but it seems its just voted LEDs for me. I think you should have had a box for lighting combinations as there are many people running lighting similar to me.

One of the reasons for this is perhaps as I did ticking both LEDs and another like say T5s seems to just give the vote to LEDs and not combinations of different lighting as I have. Also no box for power compacts which I have with my LEDs

T5s ob my osaka and my vision and the wonderful little power compacts that are stock on my DD 12gal nanocube. Love those little bulbs
I tried a cheap ebay MH lamp once. Scared the pants off me almost - ate leccy like nothing.
