What do you do with your empty salt buckets? Maybe you just discard them or perhaps you have some novel way you put them to good use. Storage buckets, planters, water change buckets or something else altogether. Lets here them.

cut holes in them with a stanley knife and they turn into quite good helmets.

Plant them in the garden in the hope that a salty tree will grow.

My option isnt on the poll and not sure what you are trying to prove? In the other threads people are saying they dont need the buckets and want to save some money/carbon footprint. Also saves Redsea some cash so not sure what your point is?

My old buckets are sat wasted in the back garden., I've somehow lost the lids and they are sat full of old rainwater, in the way.

All very simple really people may use them for all manner of things. I just got the idea from this thread although its nothing really to do with it. other than recycling. I have used mine for a number of things so kinda recycling them but as said its got little to do with this tread other than people may use salt buckets rather than just throw them away. Councils recycle plastic now anyway even if you do discard them in an appropriate bin.

Let them fill with rain water then get pi$$ed wet through emptying them before I take them to the tip
