Which Powerhead ????

Was thinking of treating myself to a couple of Tunze 6045 's
but was told today by a major aquatic store in Manchester that they dont stock them as they've had to much "trouble" in the past noisey,faulty,bad service, no spares, so now I'am confused!!!!

Ignore em mate - bad advice - Tunze are spot on - had loads of them - no issues.

i have gone with a pair of mp40's mate, they have a mega flow to them

2 things put me off the Vortech! 1 is Price 2 you cant direct the flow!

less than tunze when you add the controller, magney and moonswitch which is included with the vortech. dont need to point them antwhere.

Vortech for me to.
get the right ones and set up correctly and they provide more than enough flow

I've got tunze and a vortech mp10 running in my tank, I like them both but the vortech is noisy the tunze are silent. But the features in vortech make up for it.

Tunze for me, purely due to the silent running but either tunze or vortechs, u cant go wrong, both excellent powerheads
