    Ro is much better
Scuba is the way to go
but taking a slice of reef home is just as good.

    Think i voted wrongly

    I voted Ro

but we have a RO unit and we use the membranes and DI resin

But we certainly would not use our tap water even if conditioned. as we have TDS of 385

    So RO all the time

I thought today that I would put to test my Tds reader I got from dream reef with the prize I won in the raffle, I got a reading of 147 on the RO water I buy from the shop!

Hi ,if I was you I would stop getting the RO water from their as it's supposed to be as near as 0 as possible or at least inform them so they may do something about it. Mine which I do myself is 0 if I start to get a reading of 1-2 I know my DI resin is getting ready for changing.
My tap water only has a reading of 120-150 as I live in a soft water area so are they selling tap water and passing it off as RO.
Just as a side note ,if you have ever used the container for transporting salted water that could also cause it,but if it's only ever used for RO water their is something wrong.
Hope this is of some help

Hopefully that could be it then as I mix my salt in the tub also. I hope! Will have to ask them when I next go.
