Arrow Subscribe To Marine Habitat And Help The Salty Box

Marine Habitat have very kindly offered The Salty Box an incentive to help with our server costs etc in return for us sending people to their website to subscribe to Marine Habitat Magazine.

To help The Salty Box recoup some costs for the server etc, if people are thinking of subscribing to Marine Habitat, could you please do the following.

What do I need to do?

    1) Use this link to visit their website. Subscriptions | Marine Habitat Magazine | Marine Fish Keeping Magazine
    2) Add SALTYBOX1234 to the field Where did you hear about us?
    3) That's it, enjoy your subscription once subscribed

How much do The Salty Box receive per subscription?

The Salty Box will receive £2 for every 6 month £10 subscription taken out, that the code has been used for.

What happens if I forget to add the code?

The Salty Box gets nothing, zilch, nada so please try and remember to do so.

So, do you still get money with a European Subscription?

I would imagine as long as the code is added the £2 would be given to us, I can clarify James, but I am sure we would.

Nothing has changed, it's probably easier to say we get a commission for sending people to their website and they then subscribe.

It's still not sponsored and Marine Habitat have zero input on the running of the site. They want to increase subscription rates, and we have servers to pay for. Mutually beneficial.

i would say its just a favour that would be done with or without the donation. There has been some good tank write ups in the mag they have mentioned the salty box in the articles. I think its a case of you scratch our and we wil yours.

I am pretty sure, although not 100% certain, that this incentive, could be rolled out to other forums in the future as a way of increasing subscriptions.

Both the forums and the magazine both benefit as well as our / other forums members.

Don't quote me on that though.
