    Frag Origin: From Rob1977 via Cambridge Coral Tech

    TANK INFORMATION
    Dimensions of tank: 121 x 46 x 62 cm
    System Volume: 350 ltrs
    Lighting: 2 x 150w BLV 10K, 4 x 39w T5, 2 x Aquarays
    Circulation: 1 x MP40, 3 x tunze 6025
    Filtration: Skimmer, Cheato, MM
    Additives: NO3-PO4X + REDSEA REEF ENERGY A&B
    Water Parameters: cal 550, alk 11.2, mag 1700, phos 0.01, nitrate 0

    Looks to be sprouting a bit, one of my favourite corals. Doesnt seem to require much light either

    Couldnt help notice your magnesium is very high. Is that deliberate, is there a reason for it.

    Trying to kill back some byropsis, however it did not work too well so its on its way back to a normal level now.

    Chris, I looked into ways of getting rid of this when I bought that rock of you (it's gone now btw, lawnmower blenny did it for me) but when I came across the mag method I also found this quote, "A similar method to try is while aggressively protein skimming, elevate your pH to a steady 8.5 for three weeks. It would seem that low ph/alkalinity ratios seem to aggravate an outbreak." might be worth a bit more time researching first but it something to look into bud,
