    Default our new dragon

    My lad (he's 8) got a his first pet at weekend. A bearded Dragon. He's called it James?

    I just love these animals but the wife claims my pending upgrade is enough

    2 x Ocellaris Clowns (Mork & Mindy),2 x Cleaner shrimps (Woody & Jesse),1 x Peppermint shrimp (Peppa),
    crabs & snails.Toadstool, xenia, kenya tree, GSP, zoas, mushrooms & pipe organ.

    My lad wouldn't have a tan/black one he wanted this coloured one. I didn't pay for him either which was a bonus. I know the tan/black go for £50 in the reptile shop near me so dont know how much he should have been.
    Its funny trying to get the crickets into a food bag to put some calcium on them but i think we need a cricket house for them to make life easy as the crickets freak my wife out

    He's nice. I have loads of reptiles.

    I have dusting crickets down to perfection. They go in a tall plastic beaker with one of those clip on lids and I give them a swirl in that then tip into wherever you need to put them. Some of my chameleons have their crickets in a cup. Crickets escape from the kricket keeper so I now keep them in the tub but they are gutloaded with dry and wet food and put in fresh tubs every week although your beardie will probably eat a lot more than my lot.
