Apparently they go from anything from £600 to over £1000. They don't make good pets as they like to tunnel and live in social groups of upwards of 30. There is lots of info on the net inc complaints about pet shops keeping them in poor conditions. They don't like being caged and have large territories to roam. They like to burrow and dig for their food so few people can provide for their needs
Aww how cute. I don't need them though as I have my hands full with all my chameleon and gecko babies lol plus my dogs would think they were toys. I saw some in a pet shop in Nottingham but they weren't for sale. They are gorgeous little things.
