    Default advice on grooming dogs

    Is anyone a dog groomer or know anything about it on here im looking for some advice on clippers and blades my wifes got 2 bichon frise that cost me £50 every 6 weeks for grooming and when they come back ive still got to finish them off so decided to spend the money on a good set of clippers and do it myself

    Oddly enough I was looking at some Andis clippers for a cat we have. Cost about £30 each time. Never went for them, but they are considered good quality. We now use scissors in the summer months.

    I suspect your 1st, and maybe even 4th cut ay be a little ropey, but least the hair grows back.

    I was looking at the andis just wondered if anyone had any advice on them before i bought them

    what sort of lenght is there coat when its cut?

    Start with a young one and buy them plenty of sweets, maybe even show them some puppies.

    Its about 1/2 inch was looking at buying andis agc super 2 speed with extra 3 3/4f blade

    i dont think what i was thinking of will be any good then all my terriors get done with horse clippers there 10 times better then dog ones and are quick but cost alot more then dog clippers
