It would seem that my albino cories rather liked what was in the water change I did the other day as I went up to the tank last night to find rather alot of eggs all over the glass!
I have had these cories for at least 4 years and this is the first time they have felt the inclination to get fruity so I am very happy. The only thing now concerning me is that when my other cories have bred before, I have managed to easily raise the eggs to hatch and then the babies to start feeding, but that's been as far as I could get...4 weeks later and every fry has died.
Just wondering if anyone else has had success with raising cory fry to adulthood and if they have any tips they can pass on to me?
At the mo the eggs are in a floating breeding trap with a stocking over the slits to stop anything swimming out to certain death in the main tankthe trap is gettting good flow through it from the eheim filter, so hopefully the eggs won't fungus up.
All advice gratefully received![]()
