my rena 4ft reef tank

Hi all i`m new to the forum and just wanted to show you my tank i have just bought a secondhand aqua medic anthias 160 which i will be installing in the new year and hope to have a go at sps my tank at the moment is a rena 4ftx 2ftx 2ft and consists mainly soft corals and lps with a growing green plating montipora. i have a dsb in the sump with 10 mangroves[ which im keeping a close eye on as i have heard the roots can break the glass in the sump] cheato i have a phosphate reactor, kalk stirrer,v2 skimmer and a auto top up return pump is a or 3500 all housed in the sump. the lights are a betta 6 tube t5 with ati tubes unit and two blue aquarays 500s.

whats your opinion on the mangroves?

i ve only had them in the sump for about 3 months but already they seem to be out growing it they seem to be doing a good job water quality is spot on i wouldn't say it was all down to them but im sure they are helping.
