Default Hazey's upgrade progess now with new fish

Well some of you know I have been planning this upgrade for 12 months or more. I shut my 3 foot tank down approximately 4 months ago and it has been killing me not having a tank in my house.
Over the past 6 months I have been collecting my equiptment for my new set up.
I went for a Godiva Executive 4x2x2 tank in Oak effect
Lighting is taken care of by an 8x54w ATi unit with 3 Blue plus, 3 Special blues & 2 Fiji purple tubes.
The light unit I bought brand new from Billy of Woodson Aquariums

This was my 3 foot tank just before I broke it all down

I have decided to go with a full rock set up comprising of reef bones only, no live rock. The reason is so I do not get any nasties.....what I put into the tank is what ends up in it.
I soaked the rock in a VAT full of RO water & a reactor with Rowaphos and my Deltec MCE600 skimmer with carbon in it's media basket.
I have been doing regular 100% water changes on the VAT every 5-7 days and that has been running for 6 weeks or so in my garage

I thought about building my rock work onto eggcrate so set about building some platforms. Here is my first attempt

    The stand is in place

Here is my tank in place

Added the Ati light unit. Decided to rest the unit on small blocks rather than on lght brackets so the tanks pelmet hides the whole light unit

    Here is the light unit

Here is how it looks as a FTS

Here is all of my rock work that I took out of the VAT to dry out ready for today

I will update later with the scaping results

A huge thanks to Dan1 for his services today, he spent all day helping me with this....cheers Dan

    Regards Dave
