    Default aquabeam 1000 mod?

How easy , if at all possible would it be to change 2 of the white leds to 2 blues.
That way it can have an all white channel and an all blue channel instead of a channel of 5 whites and a channel of 3 blues + 2 whites

For the time being, i have just covered over the 2 whites on the blue channel as it wasnt giving me a nice night time view, it was to bright!!

agree, would have been better if one channel was all blue and the other channel all white, cannot see this being easy to alter

the aquabeam 1500 is set like this. just wish i had known before i bought this 1000hd tile!!
i have covered the 2 white leds with some cardboard and it is working well and still very bright when all the leds are on (prob helps coz its only over a 12" cube)

i thought if i could unsolder the 2 whites and replace with 2 royal blue led then this would solve the problem.

Never had one of these but would help if you can find out what spec the led's are & what milliamps they're running at. If you know I would imagine it is just a case soldering new ones in. The only problem I can see is that cree whites can be safely run at 1000ma but 700ma is recommended for blues or royal blues. They can go up to 1000ma but maybe wont last as long. HTH
