How to kill a paly?

Hi folks,
I have a bunch of nuclear green paly's on the right of my tank - they gotta go!
I've tried the calk paste with no success (bloody ate the stuff)
Tried cutting and they regrow like some demented medusa.
I can't remove the rock ( not easily anyway)

I need some surefire solutions that won't cause other issues.

I think your gonna have a problem getting rid without causing issues in the tank.........they were the only thing that survived when I lost almost everything when we moved house.

Think they are pretty much bomb proof. They are the only thing that survived (bar a thread of Chaeto) when I moved home.
What about slicing and then covering with putty?

I know you don't want to......but taking the rock out will probably be the best way.

if you can get the rock out a hot solding iron works wonders failing that id try as above. slice it as short as possible then milliput over it.

tbh its like any organism you just got to keep hitting them till they get weaker and weaker till they die. it takes constant active management my friend had similar with xenia

That would work but some will get round the sides and its a large, not easy to access area

I've tried that in the past and cant recall if it works, they are part of same family so it might worth a shot.

I tried pulling some out with pliers last night, the whole bommie lifted up - these things are tough!
