Iodine tests are tricky at best of times , depending on type of iodine it can be hard to detect might be worth considering the redsea iodine test kit but any can be tricky to read.

The d+d one is very easy to read and we never had any problems

the test kit is a new i2 iodine from salifert. i was putting in to the tank the salifert iodine at 10ml for 200ltrs and then doing a test to see and was getting no color at all.over 3 days and still no color from the test. so i got the 2 little fish iodine. put some in and got 0.06 on the kit.
say over 3 days is doing tests and not put more iodine in.
