    Default new tank

    hello guys any advise plz lol

    i have a 190 tank been running for 7 - 8 months now fish corals live rock etc etc

    i have just got a bigger tank and sump total about 600 ltrs
    what is the best way to transfer sand rock rish corals


    this is what i was going to do

    set up new tank fill with my ro and salt mix 3/4s full have power heads filter running lights,
    put some live rock in sand with some shrimp the shrimp you use for fishes food lol

    leave running for 2 or 3 days then transfer my water (190) live rock etc etc to the new tank

    will this be ok or would anyone recomend another way

    I think you will need to cycle it longer than 3 days as there is quite a difference in the amount of new water needed.

    That's roughly a 66% increase in volume. IMO I'd leave it a little longer just to be safe

    2 x Ocellaris Clowns (Mork & Mindy),2 x Cleaner shrimps (Woody & Jesse),1 x Peppermint shrimp (Peppa),
    crabs & snails.Toadstool, xenia, kenya tree, GSP, zoas, mushrooms & pipe organ.
