    Default **** year so far

Lost the father inlaw on 5th feb was very sudden no underline problems at all just was shovelling snow of his path then collapsed, he struck his head on the way down but his wife said he never even yelled or shouted so must of gone before he hit the floor god bless him.
We live 2 doors from him and couldn't do nothing at all tried cpr for 15 mins but just gone, the good thing is it was sudden but the worst thing i have ever done in my life was to go in to his front room for his daughter my partner to ask is he breathing yet and i had to break all there hearts and tell them hes gone to a better place. to make it worse our 6 yr old saw everything and she started having sleeping problems, we never took the kids to the funeral as i didnt feel it was right.

I had only got out of hospital in middle of jan from having yet another stomach operation think its the 9th now and was not totally fit, i got a neighbours help and we had to carry him in to the kitchen it was not until around 2 hours later i started feeling a huge pain then realized i had pulled stitches out and was bleeding but kept it quiet as we had enough to deal with, The guy never had a bad bone in his body and was a true yorkshire man always singing and talking told the old goat to shut up half of the time, he was such an active guy at 78 he would of run rings around some youngsters these days lol, Had the funeral on 17th and it felt as though we had gone back 2 weeks.

So typical of this area quick enough to spy on me and peer around the curtains as im on benefits but the time we do need help no ***** there, the funeral was at the village church and was packed out his poor wife couldnt walk her son and i had to hold her up all the time.

Its strange as everything you liked doing in the past hobbies etc you just dont care about, i think i forgot to feed the poor fish for 2-3 days and the tank has been that neglected its got dinoflaggets so had to order some algae-x to get rid, even the holiday the family was planning has been cancelled, trouble is the mother inlaw cant get around by her self as well so we will have to do her shopping as well and help her out

Sorry to hear this and my condolences goes out to you and all your family

Things will get better over time and also dont neglect yourself! you being well is key to staying strong for your partner and kid(s)!

Sounds awful now but does the mother in law have other family who could help out for a couple of days to let you guys get away from it for abit? maybe it will do you good to have abit of time to yourself I know how stressful it can be as I've been there with my own dad

Shes has her son at home but to be honest expecting him to start doing what he used to having his arse wiped for him at 38 !, he just stays in his room when hes not at work talking to girls on the tinternet lol

Wouldnt be to bad if some of them were half decent but most he meets are very strange.

Decided the best way is to try and get on so yesterday started the led build FINALLY took my minds off things for a while

Oh trust me his dad used to wake him up with a cuppa, then he has his tea made when he got home, his mother did all his cooking washing etc, he did nothing a true lazy sod, even when he had days off never helped his father out. The lad falls watches tv till 3am and when he comes around here with the mother inlaw for tea he just falls asleep then blames it on that sleeping disorder lol

Just wish i was as active as i was 4-5 years ago but i think my bodys just tired from all the ops, keep telling them to shove a zip on me will make it easier for them, Our good friends have even now said in summer they would do her gardening hedges grass, they hardly know the women, he needs a size 50 up his ass, mind you its the parents that let him get away with it so not totally his fault

Ahh well this isn't. A debate about that so!

Just focus on getting yourself well and supporting the other half she needs just as much attention as her mum does
