    opinions please.

    i have one, and at £14 delivered thought it was a bargain, only had it 3/4 weeks and developed intermittant fault, on and off. also i think it looks rather big.

    You get what you pay for imo with powerheads. Best cheap powerhead imo is maxi jets on a wave maker.

    I've got 3 of their powerheads and not had a single problem with them, oldest 1 is 18 months old. The bigger 12k and 6k versions do hum a bit, but a bit of mouse mat between the magnet and glass and their silent.

    I bought a 5000 lph one
    I found the power cable was too short and it packed up after about 6 months
    You an get the same ones from Hong Kong a lot cheaper
