name the worst piece of equipement you ever bought.

Hi, I was about to ask rate your equipement, but I thought it would be too long. So to save others some money and head-aches, name a device you purchased in the last few years that did not perform as it claimed it should. Please don't simply put down or whine and complain. Please just briefly explain why the device was not a good purchase. Done costructivly,others can benefit while the discussion stays pleasant.

I'll start, I had a Coralife super skimmer 220 (HOB or sump) a few years back that was great. I bought a Coralife superskimmer 125 (HOB or sump) for my new tank and was very dissapointed. First, the skimmer would not keep a steady adjustement, once set, it would last a day or two then either be to low or overflowing. It actually overflowed 3 times in a month without reason. I did some research and found this was common with the super skimmer. I also contacted coralife and did not receive a reply. So, since it is a HOB skimmer that cannot be used to skim unless its inside a sump, I cannot recommend it. Especially since my new bubble magus was cheaper and does a very good job.

Aquaray LEDS, can barely keep sand alive
Red Sea Prizm Skimmer, it just bubbled and leaked.

Hydor korallia power head, may have had a bad one but it was weak, noisy and had the worst suction (or lack of suction) mount ever, replaced it with a cheap one from a well known online place that sells All things for Ponds and in my opinion twice as good for half the price

And as above a tmc v400 noise maker, i mean skimmer......
