How many?
We have a four foot tank and currently I can only see only 2 aips, how many berghia are recommended to be effective?
Or should I use another method as I dont want the berghia to starve and die

Re: How many?
Hi
Stocking levels for berghia does mainly depend on the amount of aips that you have, although size of tank has to be taken into consideration and how the aips are spread out.
If you only have two aips there are bound to be more that you can't see, however sadly its not really enough for berghia, which is silly as its better to get it before it spreads. But if you had berghia you would not want anymore than 1 for that amount and you would have to keep an eye as you will see when they are hungry as they will be much more prominent out hunting at night and you would then have to collect it and either pass it onto someone else that has a problem with aips or return it to us and we will give a small amount back for it so that it can live out its life here with us rather than being left to starve.
Unfortunately in the experience of most of our customers and they seem to have tried most things (some weird and wonderful ones as well
) Most things seem to make matters worse and they end up with berghia to sort it out in the end.
So hope you can see that although not really enough aips for berghia, it ought to be better to catch it early so the only way to do that is to go for one berghia and let it get in and clear the tank then pass it on or return it to us. (once returned alive to us we will refund part of your payment through paypal). We think that this is the ethical thing for us to do as breeders of these super little nudis. We do not resell them we only sell berghia aged 6-8 weeks so that due to their naturally short lifespan the customer gets the best of them.
Hope this helps to answer your query.
If I can be of any further help please do feel free to get bac to me, I am always happy to offer help and advise where its needed. We are not just here to sell berghia.
Regards Mandi
