The rules are very simple but feel we need to just make it clear for all.

1. User are allowed one entry only to each competition running at the time.

2. Multiple entries will be deleted or not accepted

3. All instructions on the competitions will be posted in the thread they are linked to. It is up to the user to read these instructions in full before entering. We cannot give out second chances.

4. Anyone found to be cheating in any of the quizzes will be permanently banned from the forum.

5. Anyone who has won one of the quizes from the previous months (includes ALL quizes) may not win the month after. I.e if you won a quiz on the forum in June you can not win in July. You may still enter, however your prize will be allocated to the runner up.

6. Any shots taken MUST be of your own stock and not of someone elses. The shot must of been taken by you. We may ask for verification on this if we are in doubt.

7. Any winning shot may not be entered again into any competition.

8. If you win more than one prize in a particular month, you may choose only one of those prizes. Once done so, the remaining unclaimed prize/s would then be offered to the second placed entrant/s.

9. If you are a free advertiser on The Salty Box, then unfortunately you are ineligible to win any of the competitions that we run. However you can submit an entry, but if you do win, the prize would be awarded to the second placed entrant/s.

10. Any photo that has won a competition on the forum in the past, may not win again.
11. Known Admins, Moderators, Staff from any other Reef Related Sites / Forums are ineligible to enter any of The Salty Box Competitions, without first gaining the Salty Box Owner's permission.


We work hard to give our members some great prizes each month and expect them to follow the rules above. This is for the benefit of all on the forum to make everyone's chance of winning the same.
