Once familiar with its surroundings, the Clinging Crab will venture out of hiding during the day to forage on algae and any uneaten meaty foods whilst clinging tightly to the rock while feasting. Make sure the crab is given enough food as otherwise, this crab and indeed many other crabs will turn to invertebrates, or small fish for a food source.
These rose-coloured crabs are similar to Emerald Crabs in shape and habits. .
Like other invertebrates, they do not tolerate copper-based medications or fluctuating water parameters.
