Excellent reef and community fish. The Chromises are generally bright active fish which should be kept in shoals in the aquarium. In a larger set up a shoal of 6 is striking to watch.

A dominant individual may occasionally bicker with the others. Lone Chromis often fail to survive. Often frequent the upper section of the tank. Keep in min group of 3.
