All born male, but dominant/larger of a pair will become female - if not paired when bought, try to get a large and small clown.

Can live singularly, but usually kept in pairs.

Clowns will usually find a host in your tank (usually a coral, but sometime a powerhead!) which will be their home. Anemone is the natural host of clowns, but anemones will only survive in established tanks. This behavior is sometimes not present in tank bred clowns.
